Ein weiterer Fokus liegt auf Orten, die als besonders „spukig“ gelten, wie Friedhöfe, Schlösser oder alte Häuser. Besonders erwähnt wird dabei das „Borley Rectory“, ein Haus in England, das angeblich von vierzehn Geistern heimgesucht wird. Es gibt auch Informationen darüber, dass viele dieser Orte in England zu finden sind. There is a considerable amount of evidence to prove the existence of ghosts, including many witnesses and a lot of media like photographs, tape recordings and even videos. Ghosts are usually described as fog-like or semitransparent . Sometimes they aren t described visually, but in terms of other phenomena, such as movements of objects, spontaneous throwing of a light switch, noises etc. In some religions people believe in reincarnation and so they explain ghosts as souls of people who didn t want to die or wanted to do something in their lifetime and so they can t rest in peace.
