PLOT: Andrew Beckett is a successful lawyer at Wyant, Wheeler and has to work on a multi-million dollar case. But his private life is difficult he fights against his disease AIDS and sometimes he has to work at home. His senior partners do not know neither about his fate nor about his homosexuality, but in a meeting one of them gets wind of it and Andy s law-firm really do not like this news. Therefore they want to fire him, and for having a reason to do this, they sabotage his work. Andrew has lost his job allegedly for incompetence, but he knows that his illness and sexual orientation were the reason. So he sues them for it, but during this case his health gets worse. In the end Andrew dies of AIDS, but he wins the trial this has been a big step for the court. IDEAS THEMES: The story gives us a view of the attitudes of people. What they think about AIDS ...
