Das Dokument beschäftigt sich mit den Grundprinzipien der amerikanischen Regierung. Ein zentrales Thema ist die Verfassung, welche die Natur- und Freiheitsrechte der Bürger schützt. Das System der drei Gewalten (Exekutive, Legislative und Judikative) wird erklärt und das Prinzip der Checks and Balances, das verhindern soll, dass eine Gewalt zu viel Macht erlangt, wird erläutert. Der Präsident der USA wird als Staatsoberhaupt, Regierungschef, Oberbefehlshaber und Diplomat beschrieben und seine Rolle im politischen System wird erläutert. Die Wahl des Präsidenten wird erklärt, sowie die Unterschiede zwischen den beiden wichtigsten Parteien, den Demokraten und Republikanern. Auch der Kongress und dessen Aufgaben werden beschrieben, ebenso wie das System des Kabinetts, welches den Präsidenten in der Exekutive unterstellt ist. Schließlich wird das oberste Gerichtssystem der USA, der Supreme Court, erläutert und warum Richter auf Lebenszeit ernannt werden.

Ein wesentliches Thema ist die Verfassung und die Rechte der Bürger. Diese werden durch das System der Checks and Balances geschützt. Der Präsident und die Rolle der Exekutive, inklusive des Kabinetts, werden erläutert und die Unterschiede zwischen den Demokraten und Republikanern werden erklärt. Auch der Kongress und das oberste Gerichtssystem des Landes werden beschrieben. Insgesamt gibt das Dokument einen Einblick in die grundlegenden Prinzipien der amerikanischen Regierung.

It contains nature-rights like the right on lives, freedom and property. The constitutions Founding Fathers understood the state as an union of citizens citizens - Bürger, The constitution protects the rights with a balanced system of the three forces treee forces drei Gewalten. The peoples independence belongs to the principles of the American constiution. In elections it empowers the president, the senators and the members of the house of representatives to power in its name. This is a government of the people, by the people and for the people. In this system the three forces, the president as executive, the congress participate as legislative and the uppermost courts as judicative are seperated from each other. Defeats with elections to the congress hasn´t a direct consequence to the President. But they also have to work together. This system is called a system of checks and ballances2 The intention of this system is to prevent any of these branches gaining too much power or misusing its power.
